Hello! I'm Catherine
Leung, founder of "Kindermusik by Catherine". I qualified
as a Nursery Teacher in England in 1986 and have worked in many
different areas with pre-school children in several countries. Whilst
in Sydney, Australia, I qualified as a swimming instructor (specialising
in infants, adults and people with disabilities) and I became a
licensed Kindermusik Educator (having been a "Kindermusik Mum"
for my 17-month old son). On my return to Hong Kong, I became HK's
first Kindermusik teacher. I have performed with the Hong Kong Singers
& the Hong Kong Players, since 1994 and taking the lead role
of 'Snow White' in the 1994 Christmas Pantomime of "Snow White
& the 7 Dwarfs" and last year was seen as 'Prince Charming'
in Cinderella (which was quite challenging!) Most recently I have
been performing with The Purple Turtle Theatre Group in which I
played 'Beauty' in "Beauty and the Beast" as part of the
Fringe Festival & 'Dorothy' in the "Wizard of Oz".

KIM JACKSON
Kim Jackson is originally

in Theology from the University of Nottingham. Before this, she
spent some
time doing voluntary teaching at primary schools and then spent
a few months
travelling. It was this enjoyment of travelling that finally brought
Kim to
Hong Kong at the beginning of 2004. Since then she has been a full-time
Playgroup Leader teaching a wide range of children and classes including
phonics, speech & drama, pre-school and Cambridge YLE.
During this experience,
Kim discovered Kindermusik and decided to explore it
further by becoming an educator with Kate's Kids Limited. When she's
not
having fun singing, dancing and playing with the children at work,
Kim can
sometimes be found having fun with drums at a monthly drum workshop
that she
attends.
